NOVA would like to inform all teams that this weekend’s event will be postponed until next week May 29th. The large majority of our local club players and coaches will be out of town or competing in indoor events this weekend. Our staffing and player participation is a little bit lower than normal due to this. To keep your beach experience at the fun level that we are all used to, we felt it was best to postpone until next weekend. All registrations will be moved to May 29th. If for any reason, there is a different tournament you would like to participate in, please email us at management@hotshotsvball.com. We already have a bunch of teams for next weekend! We cannot wait to see everyone this summer!

That’s right! Another fun weekend of Beach Volleyball. We will be holding events just about every weekend for you! So, mark your calendars and keep those weekends free! This weekend we will be hosting Girls and Boys 18 and under divisions and 15 under divisions. Make sure to register online to help us plan. But, we do always except walk ups. Check in does begin at 8:30am. We will be starting by 9am.
Step 1-find yourself a partner and get registered. We ask that you register ahead of time at www.novaeventmanagement.com for every event. It helps our staff plan for the day and start everything on time. Of course, walk ups are welcome if you find a partner last minute.
Step 2-(Day of Event) Check in will begin at 8:30am. You can always walk up early if you so choose. When you arrive, you will check in at the trailer. There will be the tournament director there under a tent to check you in, and let you know where you will be playing.
Step 3-once everyone is checked in, the tournament director will go over some general rules and announce how the entire day (pool play) will work
Step 4-After pool play is completed, your team will then be sent into playoffs. For our juniors events, every team will make playoffs in some fashion.
Step 5-end of day. When your team either wins or gets knocked out of the tournament, you will check out with the tournament director and be on your way.
Some general information. Tournaments generally last from 9am until about 3pm or so. (depending on number of teams) So, plan on a full day.
First and second plays teams in each division will receive prizes.
If it’s raining-we play through the rain. If there is thunder or lightning, we will have a delay until it is safe to continue.
If the weather looks poor, Hot Shots may be used as a backup location.
All juniors no longer have to be NOVA Members. Juniors are required to be WEVA Members. If you are a WEVA member, then you are covered!
